Helping men find Christ-Centered Community.

Woody Faulk is the founder of SapientWorks, where he serves as a strategic confidant and coach to organizations and senior leaders, helping them unlock growth through fresh thinking, innovation, and alignment around the questions “What if?” and “How might we?”

Previously, Woody served as Vice President of Innovation & New Ventures at Chick-fil-A, Inc., where he led a team of innovators and intrapreneurs responsible for accelerating growth and shaping the brand’s future. His team launched ventures and platforms to explore what was next for the $21.3B quick-service restaurant chain, both domestically and internationally.

Before that, he was Vice President of Innovation & Design, overseeing innovation education, Chick-fil-A’s innovation center, and new restaurant concepts. Earlier, as Vice President of Brand Development, he helped define what customers “saw, tasted, and touched” by leading menu strategy, product development, and in-store experience.

Woody’s leadership journey began humbly—bussing tables at a Bonanza Steakhouse at age 14—and continued through an MBA from Harvard, a BBA from the University of Georgia, and studies at Richmond College, London and Stanford University’s Innovation Program.

Today, he speaks, writes, and consults on innovation, leadership, and being a dual-transformative, ambidextrous leader. He chairs the Board of Trustees at Heritage Preparatory School, serves on boards including JH Ranch, Ember Marriage Retreats, and the Dean’s Council at UGA’s Terry College of Business.

A Georgia native, Woody is most at home across a breakfast table, with a fly rod or shotgun in hand, sharing conversations about what truly matters.

Guys coming together in community spawned the idea of what evolved into Purpose On Tap.
